Confirmed festival dates
Munich Oktoberfest 2027 is scheduled from Saturday 18 September through Sunday 3 October 2027. The Theresienwiese is the main festival venue. It is important not to confuse event dates with individual tent reservation availability.
Choosing your visiting day
If you have flexibility, compare weekday and weekend visits. A weekday daytime trip may allow a more relaxed approach, but no arrival time guarantees an available table. Travelers targeting a particular opening ceremony, parade or special event should cross-check the official program.
Opening hours and annual changes
The city publishes distinct hours for the festival grounds and for the beer tents. Verify the current schedule rather than assuming all tents remain open as late as the site. The detailed 2027 schedule is linked below.
